Take your volleyball skills to the sand with Gilbert Youth Athletics Beach Volleyball Camp! This specialized camp gives athletes the opportunity to develop their technical skills, improve their game awareness, and gain valuable experience in a competitive beach volleyball environment.

Held at the Gilbert High School Beach Volleyball Courts, the camp combines high-quality instruction, repetitive skill work, live play, and individualized coaching to help athletes become more confident and complete volleyball players.

GYA All Skills Volleyball Camp

Get ready for an exciting GYA All Skills Volleyball Camp this fall! Athletes will train in a high-energy indoor environment with experienced Division I coaches and players, focusing on developing the skills and confidence they need to take their game to the next level.

Held at the Greenfield Junior High gym, athletes will receive expert instruction, plenty of repetitions, and individualized coaching in a fun, competitive environment. The camp is designed to help players strengthen their fundamentals while building confidence and preparing for the upcoming volleyball season.

Meet the Coaches

Tana Martin

With more than 40 years of coaching and officiating experience, Tana brings a wealth of volleyball knowledge and experience to the camp. Her focus on fundamentals, player development, and understanding the game provides athletes with instruction they can take directly to competition.

Makenna Martin

Makenna is a former indoor and beach volleyball player and former University of Arizona coach. Her playing and coaching experience provides athletes with valuable insight into both the technical and competitive sides of the game.

Experienced Player Mentors

Current high school and collegiate volleyball players will also assist throughout the camp, providing athletes with additional instruction, demonstrations, encouragement, and individualized mentorship.

What Athletes Can Expect

Technical Skill Development
Learn and refine the fundamental skills needed to succeed on the sand, including serving, passing, setting, attacking, and defensive play.

High-Repetition Training
Athletes will receive plenty of ball contacts and repetitions, maximizing their opportunities to practice skills and build muscle memory.

Competitive Live Play
Put your skills into action through game-like situations and competitive play designed to challenge athletes and improve their decision-making.

Beach Volleyball Strategy
Learn the differences between indoor and beach volleyball, including positioning, communication, court coverage, shot selection, and game strategy.

Individual Coaching & Feedback
Athletes receive instruction and feedback throughout camp to help identify areas for improvement and build confidence in their game.
